Hi all

We hope you have enjoyed your school holiday and now getting back into rugby

Its a busy time of year for our rugby club so here are a few updates

Firstly we say goodbye and good luck to Simon Brown our Deputy Club Captain who is leaving us for Invercargill. Thank you Simon for all the hard work you have put in this season for our club and good luck on your new adventures.

Also well done to all for a highly successful club day. Great to see all our teams playing at home , fantastic weather and happy smiling faces full of sausages and magnificent baking. 

Quiz Night

As many of you will have seen on facebook and the website we have postponed this event at this stage. It was felt the school holidays made it difficult to promote so we apologise for this

Prizegivings

Only a few left now so get down and enjoy these unique nights.

At this stage the Papanui club have advised there is a conflict in bookings for Saturday 13th and 20th August disappointingly our last couple of prizegiving nights. The management board is endeavouring to find another suitable venue for these so keep n eye out for more information.

End of Season Prizegiving

This is fast approaching and scheduled for Sunday September 11th. Venue to be confirmed.

As always we are looking for a few parent helpers for these events so if you are able to assist please contact us at info@merivalepap.co.nz or discuss with one of the board members.

Special General Meeting

Financial members we are looking at possibly holding a special general meeting to discuss changes and updates to our constitution prior to the end of the season. We will advise in due course.
